My truck cups the inside front left tire over time. You can see it slanted in at the top and out at the bottom. Not an extreme slant but I notice it. You can feel and hear the tire at low speeds. I replaced the bearing hub which the old was good still good. Replaced ball joints with good Napa Dana. I am tired of this and want to fix it but I dont know where go from here. I like a perfect running truck. I did hit something in the road some time back on my left side. Looked like about a 2 inch square channel iron laying in the fast lane. Could not avoid.
So I am now thinking it is a axle, knuckle type damage? Anyone know what the most likely failure would be? I live near Oklahoma City. Is there an expert near me I could take my truck in to have them figure it out.

Had it in to two alignment shops. You can do I believe a toe in and toe out but not the adjustment I need.

You need to find a real alignment shop, then.... whether it is a 2WD or a 4WD, caster and camber are adjustable....

There is an eccentric bushing at the top ball joint commonly called an alignment slug... The factory slugs only fit one way but the aftermarket slugs, available in 1/4 degree increments, fit in one of six positions for varying amounts of caster/camber change.

Our store charges 159.95 for a full meal deal alignment plus $60.00 per slug plus GST (gouge and screw tax that our fine government has levied on us).

BarryF350, Stempf makes a shim that can adjust both castor and camber for our trucks. I would recommend you call the company as they have a list of dealers/distributors and can find a heavy truck shop in your area that uses these parts. If they use them, the can adjust all parameters of alignment and get your truck fixed. The part you want is an FXR-32. At the linked site above, click on the professional installer/dealer link and then click on catalogs. Download or open the 06-07 master catalog and look on page 172 and you will find this part. This double adjustable shim makes setting castor and camber a snap. Call them and find out who in your area is using these parts. They can give you a list of them on the phone.

Yep, what Grampy said, We have a shop here in my area that is the best local shop around for these trucks. I am very happy with my alignment. Tire wear is great.

Take it to Merle's on South Shields.
1.5 mi. South of I-240 on East side.

I've used them for years.
They have been honest and will fix it right.

They are the only front end shop I'll ever use.

Going to Merle's tomorrow 8:00am.. Let you know how it goes later. Their website looks like my kind of place.

Mike at Express Tire in Chickasha was another recommendation but he is further away. That rec came from Distributor of the shim parts. He takes his truck there and he lives in OKC.

My wife was disappointed about passing up Chickasha since lunch was involved and a day away.

I also took the truck to MM Tire in Yukon which was another rec from Distributor but he was unsure how good they were. MM Tire is located 1 block from me so why not. No luck at MM but I did buy rodeo tickets they were selling.

thanks
