I was watching my belt run with the hood open today and noticed there was a wobble, I replaced the idler pulley on top, and the whole belt tensior and pulley and the whole unit from ford. I noticed a wobble still and it wobbles where the waterpump pulley is. Is my waterpump on its last leg? I am gonna be traveling 2000 miles coming up here,

It's your water pump.....It happened to me the same way, right before a trip....
That's all I did was pop off the radiator cap [degaus bottle] to relieve pressure and made the trip just fine....Changed out the pump with a NAPA unit, $210 exchange and about 2 hrs time for somebody who knows...
While your at it, you might also consider, up-grading your coolant with ELC....
Rotella, or Cat make some good ones....
P.S. You might also consider taking a sepentine belt with you on the trip, they make a mess when they go....

Might just be the pulley. They've been known to fatigue crack.

Sorry dieselford755. I thought I was in the 6.0L forum when I made that statement about the pulley.

Its alright, you got my hopes up, I guess I better just bit the bullet and change it before my 2000 mile trip. Thanks for letting me know though.

Can I get the waterpump pulley out with the fan just doing the pulley bolts? Will it clear the radiator if I take it out with the shroud.
