yup, I have discovered that if you can get a piece of fishin string and tie it to the loop, you can bring it right back to you when it goes flying. anther option is to run down to NAPA and buy their 1/4" clip, someone may chime in with the part #. when you get the clip off you can just use a pair of vise grips to hold the rod steady while you use a small screw driver to turn it. It you have to bring it in a lot you may have to take it off and re-tap the threads to get rid of the dimple. I screwed mine in just enough to where I had to pull the rod out of the canister about 1/4-3/8" to connect it back to the waste gate, it should be under tension. I also used loc-tight on the threads just for reassurance.
