I have an '06 PSD with a Quadzilla Commander Monitor.

I have 2 questions:

- What temperature thermostat does the 6.0L PSD have?

- My reading (at the thermostat housing) with the Commander monitor is about 205 degrees, with no load, A/C on, going down the highway.

The previous software version with the Commander showed about 190 degrees under the same conditions and I'm trying to figure out which temp is the correct one. 190 or 205 (again this is at the thermostat housing, and the commander reads the signal to the trucks computer).

I have a 04 6.0 and I just changed the thermosat yesterday and it was a 195 in it stock. Stamped on the therostat was 89 degrees C/104 degrees C coverted that is 195/220 F

My '05 is as it came from the factory and it runs about 195 on hot days and 210-215 pulling a 10K load.

That is the same temps I am running hauling a 18K lb 5th wheel
I go to 210 to 230 up hills 200-210 on flats pulling.

I blow coolant at 235 and clutch fan comes on at 235.

I am going to try a slightly lower coolant level in the reserve bottle.

I run the Edge programmer at level 2-3 depending on the load size.
