It is most likely Internet Explorer as that browser is not supported for much longer. Why cant I see the text of most posts? They are covered by gray circles and such?
This is a result of compatibility issues with the IE browser. Microsoft is ending support for their Internet Explorer browser this year. If you use Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Safari, it will work much better. And they are all free! Why cant I see the text of most posts? They are covered by gray circles and such?
If you hover over the member's avatar (or click if you are using a mobile device) you can see the member's location still. We need to get our location back under our user name.
It is very helpful when another member needs some help or we want to help another member without having to ask them where they are located at.
We are still also waiting to get the old FAQ's back. If you can't get them back just tell us.
Some communities ask their members to add it to their signature if it is important to them.If you hover over the user's avatar it brings up a window that has location (if provided by the user in their profile).
But I agree, if it was visible all the time that would be much more convenient.
Agreed, that little red dot isn't even very red. Can you make it flash, which would at least draw attention to it. I've not noticed it since it must have been "lit up" on my profile thingy for at least 2 weeks. Also any news on setting up something different for the alerts. That little red dot just doesn't do it.
You have 24 hours to edit a post but you can not delete that post if you have anything you need to be removed you can use the report function and one of the team members cans help you out. Please tell me WHY I cannot delete a post upon editing? Used to be able to... in every other forum I visit including my own deleting is an option.
No update on this at this time however we are working on tools for restore those and fix the redirects in early 2020Any progress in getting the old FAQ's back? Right now any post that is linked to them in a search bombs out.
Also any news on setting up something different for the alerts. That little red dot just doesn't do it.
There are new push notifications that might help you get notice of alerts more effectively.Agreed, that little red dot isn't even very red. Can you make it flash, which would at least draw attention to it. I've not noticed it since it must have been "lit up" on my profile thingy for at least 2 weeks.
Can you give me any links to them that might be broken and I can do a deeper dive?Any updates on when and if we are going to get the old FAQ's back?
There have been quite a few questions asked where we could link them to the old section if it was available but since it is no longer there we can't.
It would be nice if you would just tell us that it will come back or that it is gone forever, forget the "we are working on it" story.
