I really like the new look.

I twenty words or less................what the heck happened?

I posted a question here before I realized this is a "howdy do" thread. My apologies for that. So here goes. I have a 2005 F250...no mods. I use the truck to tow my 2003 Lightning to races here and there around the country. The trailer I tow it in is a 32' shadow master. So far I have been very happy with the ability of the F250 to pull the rig around the country. I'm not real happy with what it is costing to haul the rig around. Anyway...been lurking here over the past couple years. My knowledge on diesels is limited. I know how to fill her up with diesel and get the oil serviced...LOL. So.... Howdy everyone.

Moved Posts

Guys, I just wanted to let you know that I've moved a few posts asking technical questions to the appropriate forum if you happen to be looking here for them.

This is just a welcome thread and doesn't get near as much visibility as the individual tech forums. You're welcome to post here, but tech questions will get better exposure if posted in the appropriate forum.

Thanks

I read the first page of this topic and the last... What happened?
Did Jason sell the site? Who has it now? Not quite as happy as everyone else is with the changes, but this is my first visit in a while and when I couldn't, at first, find the original home page I thought that the site was gone... just a parking lot with a bunch of ads. I did find the original home page (after the name changed) and some of the links no longer work. The "Therapy" list is gone.
The forums appear rather active. Jason did a great thing for us diesel folks. The site has been so helpful. I even won a battle with a dealer service department based on printing a topic/thread on the CPS problem with 7.3's years ago.
Just so I my questions don't get lost: What happend to do Jason? Did he sell the site? Does anyone hear from him?

Jason's username was JLester. A search reveals that his last post was in February 2008 in the moderator forum that members don't see, a couple of months after he sold the site to AutoGuide. Jason's sales agreement was that he would continue to be an administrator of the website after Autoguide took it over. He posted for a few weeks, then disappeared.

Jason may have registered under another username after that, but no one alerted me to the new username name if he did that.

Notice that this thread began in January, 2008, and most of the posts were in early 2008.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page and you'll see the various other automotive websites that AutoGuide owns. Ford, Dodge, GM, Nisson, Toyota and several others.
