my goal is to have as strong of an all around truck as possible while keeping this truck

have an 03 f250 king ranch with 168k. I went and looked at new ones and thought after a 60k price tag I could spend some cash on this one.

My interior is flawless, has small lift with wheels and 35's may go to 37 next time.

has new ficm and injector harness on it now

here is what I ordered
ipr egr delete
new oil cooler
new powermax
new airdog2
new ipr and icp
all new pigtails
black onyx head gaskets
arp studs
updated oil feed and drain tube

here is what I have left to get
sct from innovative (gonna use my edge attitude for monitor and get rest in mechanical)
new hpop
rest of filter kits for inline filtering

going to fluch the coolant, oil and trans just before switching everything out and adding new

what am I missing? should I get stock hpop or the billet for reliability
I have stock exhaust but with straight pipe in place of cat and muffler. Would aftermarket help any of just look better?

if you supply anything I need feel free to pm me or make suggestions

oh and my goals are to have a reliable truck with power enough to get out of its own way. I dont want to lose low end power and not trying to take it to the dragstrip. Just dont want it to run like a stock turd. I drive it everyday not too far but would like to take it out of town or to the lake without any doubt of making it. Dont pull much more then my jeep or boat anymore

Add in some 155-190cc injectors and you will be a lot quicker than stock. The edge attitude though needs to go. I tried what your talking about. Unsing it as a gauge package and I noticed less fuel in tunes and a shift flare from 3-5th. I could remove the attitude and the tune had more fuel and the flare was not present. Then plug it back in and it would do it exactly as before. I sold the edge and got gauges. The exhaust will be louder with a bigger pipe but you will not gain much in performance from the 4" vs a 3.5 stock sized straight pipe. I would not use chemicals to flush the coolant system unless your wanting a new oil cooler. More people have issues after a flush then before when doing it a pm work.

If you get injectors don't get the cheapest ones you can find they are rebuilt cores and not worth the trouble. The one from innovative or someone like that modify new injectors but they cost more

If I ever noticed anything from the forums it is this. Buy your injectors from ryan casserly at full force diesel. Definately not the cheapest up front. If you go the cheap route though you will be lucky to not have a issue and those cheap injectors come with crappy service if they do even stand behind them. I know that innovative sells casserly injectors but they also offer injectors from other people so be informed and find out the origins. Casserly is @ full force diesel. They start with remanned aliant injectors.(No one makes new injectors any more) Then modifies them. Other guys start with used injectors or your injectors and do not fully re condition them. Nothing is worse then you thinking my low mile injectors should be fine to wind up with injector issues prematurely and then be literally stuck with a non operational truck fighting over who is gonna fix the injector/s. Likely they won't pay the labor to swap them either so the cheap injectors just cost you 2x or more and you don't have transportation either.
