I know about the PMR's, but what are the other differences?

New truck is an '02 F250 4x4 Supercab short box XLT.

The 2002 seems much quieter than my 99.5. Did they change the injectors?

The truck is an automatic, so I think it should have the water cooled trans cooler.

Is the front axle Dana 50 or 60?

Any info would be great.

Not a lot of differences. LL injector is stock with the 2002. I think you have a dana 60 but check the axle tag to be sure. I think hp is up from 99,5 also (programing). overall same truck with small changes.

Thanks Denny,

I don't have the truck yet, still waiting for the insurance to settle up. I'm just trying to get my PSD fix. Its been over a month since I lost my 99. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif Didn't think there was many differences, just cant wait to get back in my own vehicle.

1. powdered metal rods

2. ae injector in #8

3. fuse box on the inside of cab

4. broken yellow front turn signals

5. different location for badging

that's all i can think of right now

Like I said just trying to pass time waiting for my newer truck.

Anyone willing to give me a crash course in the injector codes? I'm not versed on the differences of stock injectors.

[/ QUOTE ]AE is the Long lead Inj and is Fords wasted patch for Cackle.The other 7 cylinders have Regular AD splitshots which flow a Bit more Fuel than the AB splits (Early 99's).Depending on your Build date you may have The uprated programming which is 250 HP-525 torque.You wont have a Cat on it either just 6spds have them in 02.I have a 2-02 build date on mine and Have The Bump up in HP.There seems to be some confusion when they implemented this But I have the orginal literature and it states any Autos Built after Jan 02 will have the Hotter programming.So I think they may have started this in the last run of 01's /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gifOther than that they threw in some more sound insulation,Went to the Jewel headlamps and a Trans temp gauge that is nothing but Decoration in the cluster /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gifI would NOT trust it.
