in front of my driverside firewall engine side theres a harness with blue red black and white wires sticking out of it. Anyone have any idea what there for? Thanks

Wondering the samething myself. Same colors as a brake controler has, but not sure since truck has brake controller built in.

These are spare wires that go from the engine compartment into the driver's compartment. You can use these wires instead of running new wires through your firewall.

They are factory installed accessory wires for owner installed accessories. You connect your accessory to each end without the need of drilling or fishing through the firewall.

They are spares and if you pull the fuse cover under the dash you will find the other end bunched up on the harness.

Mine were just under the dash and not protruding through the fuse panel. I taped all the wires up under the hood to the main harness, because I thought it looked tacky...you can't tell they're there now.
