I'm more of a 6.0 guy but I have a couple of friends with 7.3 strokes. What boost psi numbers are these things hitting? We just installed a Banks power pack system on his '02 F250. Intercooler, turbo exhaust housing, intake compressor wheel, power elbow, 4" downpipe and exhaust, chip, trans command, AFE intake, etc...

I'm only seeing 18-19 psi. Seems WAAAY low.

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

I hit 26 and I'm in Colorado with no air up here. The guys at lower altitute hit 30 plus. Must be a boost leak or the waist gate is opening at stock boost. A big head actuaitor will help if its the waist gate.

Good chip and stock injectors should be around 30. I see about 42 with my injectors and many are much higher.

18-19 sounds about stock, maybe check the WG or unplug it.

After I went to BTS I am now hitting 32 psi with a stock turbo. I know it won't last long before the turbo starts heading south.

I had a problem with the EBV so Brian and Cale fixed that. Then Cale made me a chip, and put a map line regulator on it. The truck hauls A$$ now.

I too live in OP and just bought the PSD in my signature, perhaps you might be able to point me in the right direction of more PSD owners or show me what i need to make my rig run alot better?

I just need some info, let me know if you can lend a hand....

Where do i tap in to see boost level on this truck?

thanks
BW

I sure hope your going to the dyno in August. I want a ride in that truck!!!

25 - 28 lbs of boost is pretty normal for mine.

I will be there, and the truck will be faster by then. My Hpop is goin on this friday i think. Yeah it runs 32 PSI withs stock injectors and stock turbo. When it shifts into second it always barks the tires, and from time to time I can make it slide sideways when it shifts. And that is with 35's also.

Nope. Stock HG and bolts, (knew I was playing with fire! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif) The studs are in the back seat of my wifes F150 waiting to go into the other motor, if I can ever find the time to swap them out! Also I am at a point of changing over to an auto. Can you all help me make up my mind? I have everything to do it, I just have to go pick up the wiring harness and stering colum and get busy. The I have to go see a man in Arkansas.
