When I switched to my South Bend smfw, I had that annoying squeak for a while. Went into the gas station the day after it was installed and came back out to a horrible squeaking. Kinda embarrassing. The squeak has sense gone away, but I was told that it wasn't the throw out bearing. I was told that it has something to do with the tines on the pressure plate being bent and rubbing. Don't know if this is true, but I am happy that it has gone away.

Strokerin, not to change the subject here, but I see you are from Stapleton, Ne. I have been through there a couple of times. I know a state trooper that lives in Tryon. We've stopped in and visited a few times. I really like that Sand Hill country. Come to think of it that guy's wife was from Stapleton. Small world I guess.

I know who you are talking about, but I can't recall his name at the moment. The sandhills is the only place to be! I really don't ever want to leave the area. Let me know next time you are around and maybe we can meet up.
