i just picked up a 94 PS F250 4X4 5speed it has a chip with a blue turn dial and a black wire running to the computer
that all i know about it
anything i can check with it to start? i don't seem to have any power change in the different settings

i think there will be more to come with this tank but ill start here

Since chips are generic there is no way to tell whose programming is on the chip. To find out you really need to talk to the previous owner.

You might get lucky and pull the chip itself out of the ecm and it may have a label etched on the board. I thought TS did it and i'm 80% sure that Bully Dog did as well.

lol the previous owner was my sister and she never found that stuff out from the previous owner.
its been many years since i owned one of these so i get to learn it all again

TS did label theirs, but that doesn't preclude the TS chip from having someone else's programming on it.
