Schaeffer's 9000 5w-40 and Redline 15w-40 probably have the HIGHEST HTHS viscosity compared to most of the commonly known HDEO's out there. A high HTHS is about the best indication of protection when it comes to high tempertaure.

Now, I'm from Missouri, so, if you say they are different, you'ld have to, well you know.

Of course, now they have renamed truck and suv to Turbo diesel 5/40.

As I said, they are very close. There is a reason you pay less for T&SUV vs. D1. There's probably a big reason why you don't see NOACK Volatility listed in the specifications.

Where do you show this spec as different? What Mobil web site etc. The difference in price is that it is Wal Mart and not a truck stop.

Again, not doubting you, but you gotta show me! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I have never paid for an oil change in either the psd's or the wife explore since I have owned them. Now the two drag cars don't come free, I buy Valvoline 20w 50 vr1 by the cases, that crap is not real cheap either.

Richter 69, I see you are from OK. Do you go to Thunder Valley (Noble) in the fall for the NHRA divisional? (I think this yr is Oct 13-15.)

we run superstreet there at the divisional, did not make it the last couple of years due to breakage. Funny I was just looking at the dates for it today and commented that its back in October where it belongs. We mainly do the bracket deal, but will make the divisional this year as its a blast. Will have at least one car ready for it, hopefully the 69 as it will run way under and I can use the stop, the smallblock car will do it, but the mph is lower.

Hey, look me up. I'm planning on being there. I Have been a couple of times before, and I really wasn't planning this year, but after winning S/G at the Checker race here at Firebird, in Chandler, and going 5 rounds at the divisional here, and some in Pomona, I'm chasing points, so it is on the schedule. If you have the Mar 17th dragster, pgs 65, 76 & 77 have the car pics to look for me.
