It looks like a switched, 10k ICP resistor (variable though) mod. Pretty priceyif that's what it is. The 10k mod is posted all over the place here and on Steve Baz's website. I don't think you'll see anywhere near those increases on a 94-97 PSD. Cheers!

Great marketing really pays off! Several of those he sold went for over $100.00 What a rip- I'd hate to be in his shoes when the flak starts falling.

i agree that the merchandise may have been a lil pricey. can't fault the guy for selling them though. almost like me paying ford $840.00 for a IDM when i could have done some research and bought it for much less...my fault.

how do they say it now days?....don't hate the playa, hate the game.

Thanks for the replies guys!
I think I am going to like it here.

Patrick:
Is this something that can be used on the earlier PSDs?
If so, what kind of increase might it give?

I have PSD vans if it matters.

Thanks again

I think someone posted numbers for the 10k mod before, but I can't recall what the increase might be. You can go to the link for Baz's site above and find the 10k mod instructions. That'll only cost about a buck! Slightly more if you add a switch and potentiometer to vary the resistance. Cheers!

I think I remember hearing someone got 30-40hp and 70lb/ft on the dyno with the 10k on a stock setup but I don't know how accurate those numbers are...most real gains seemed to be about half that. I tried it before I did any mods a while back and though the difference was pretty noticable, mostly on low end take-off, it idled like poop. Apparently some trucks run fairly well with it, some don't, but it won't hurt either.

You will /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif just keep in mind that when you do a $150 mod it will cost you about ten times that, you will want more /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif
My truck was bone stock only about two months ago!
