I am in the process of repairing my automatic locking hubs with manuals ones and I don't know what Kind of axle I have. Dana ______ I don't know anything about dana 44, 60, etc. 4x4 is new to me. I know for a fact the my u-joint on the passenger side is broken. When I did a break job last year the hub was almost impossible to get back in because the axle would wiggle around bigtime!

1992 f250 full floating rear axle w/10.25 gears. 7.3L motor.

On the F250 normally you have a Dana 50 IFS (independent front suspension) 2 pieces flexing in the middle..... squared body from the pumpkin

If it is a SOLID axle all one piece with round pipes out each side of the pumpkin it would be a Dana 60.

yeah I found out that i want to do a dana 60 swap. why did they even make IFS!??
For the rock climbers ? That was a big feature when it 1st came out, gives a smoother ride on bumpy roads . You didn't tear out the whole front end on large pot holes, only the side that hit the pot whole.

Wish I would have had a 60 on my 1928 Model T.
