I just installed the dp F5 tuner with drive thru 60 econo 80 econo and 120 agressive and F8 switch. The difference was amazing. My question is what to do next. Ive been looking at some HPOPs some are $400 some are $4000. I top out at 25 psi; is it safe to go higher and how? What about the waste gate controller? Is an upgrade worth the money? or maybe theres something I'm overlooking.
If I had to say I was purpose building the truck it would be as a daily driver with very little towing that could show off at the stoplight as well as the small town tractor pull. 35" MTs are on the way.
I want the truck to last forever lol and I really like mods that increase power and fuel economy and I dont have piles of money. I have had th e truck for a few months now and most of the mods I have done were based on advice from this forum. so here I am again. maybe someday I'll have enough expierence to help someone too.
Thanks,

I was at your stage for about a year while I saved up my money, then did built trans, stage 2 injectors, fuel pump and turbo all in 2 months. Made a HUGE difference and 2 years later now everything is still good and I love it. I am boosting to 38lbs tops (wastegate set there) The way I justified putting these parts in is knowing that they would all need work done or be replaced at some point in the vehicles life. Best investment was trans to handle the power and big tires. Btw I am still running stock HPOP without issue, I know some people say with my mods that stock wouldnt work but it has the last two years without a hiccup

What about the waste gate controller? Is an upgrade worth the money? Turbo Master from Diesel Site. or maybe theres something I'm overlooking.

+Upgraded transmission from BTS or JW. I had a local shop build mine and been going good for 2 years running performance tunes 95% of the time.
+Transmission cooler...either the 6.0 cooler or the Tru Cool Max add-on.
+Adrenaline or Stealth HPOP would be great addition to the injectors. I'd do injectors and turbo at the same time, if not injectors first.
+Raise the fuel pressure, FASS (or similar system), Hutch Mod, Regulated return, High pressure oil cross-over line, ....

If you want it to last, your next step should be the John Wood or BTS transmission.
