I need to update. I bought a 1985 Volvo 740 GLE sedan with the D24T Volkswagen 2.4 liter turbo diesel I-6 engine a year ago. It only has 95000 miles on it so it has a long life ahead of it. Put a lot of work into the motor in the last year to get everything working perfectly. Gets 25.5 miles per gallon city driving so obviously this is now my daily driver. My 1997 F-250 crew cab 7.3 liter Power Stroke 4X4 is basically just my boat towing truck and off road fishing vehicle now. My wife's vehicle is a gorgeous gold 1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with a Corvette LT1 engine. All three of our vehicles have motors made by a different manufacturer than the car. Odd eh?
