Brotherhood Of Oil Burners.A couple of fellers over here in the IDI world coined the phrase a while back and it has over time become a real deal.Pretty much exclusive to Ford 6.9 and 7.3L IDI diesels but there are a few people that have fallen into the darkness and now own Comaparts and Powder chokes(not sure if any have fallen to the Sick Point OH).The brotherhood now holds annual national gatherings and regional gatherings so I guess you could call us an offical "Club".That brings up a question,Has anyone ever Trademarked or Registered our little name?

The BOOB was coined by George Ivins back before he sucumbed to the dark side. A bunch of us liked it, and started calling ourselves BOOB men. We have an official web site, HERE and if you want to sign up over there your more than welcome. The posting password is BOOB just like that, all upper case. Women are welcome and we have several already. We realize there is a bit of a problem with the acronym for the ladies, and have been trying to think of something else, but nothing has stuck. The best I've been able to come up with for them is SOFT.
