There is a definite performance gain with an aftermarket filter.
With that said, diesel engines need CLEAN CLEAN air.
Many guys are willing to use K&N and other lousy filtration devices like Air-Raid.
All well and good if you trade in every three years or so.
I recommend the best of both worlds, and that's an AFE ProGuard-7.
