Just wondering what kind of fuel mileage everyone is getting with their 7.3s. My truck in the sig constantly gets 13.5. I don't drive real hard and normally I'm running empty doing mixed city/hwy driving. It just seems like it would get a little better, especially with the 3.55's. I wonder what 4.10's would do to the mileage? What do yall think?

That's not too good for 3.55s. I have 4.10s and I get 11-12 mpg, but that's mainly city driving. How many miles are on your truck? You may want to have your injectors tested, maybe a compression test. Try putting fuel additive in the tanks. Good luck, Tim

I am doing good at 13/14 mph with 4:10s I even got 15 mph a few times/ though I speed shift to higher gear soon as I can. Youre running 3:55 rears so unless you got a heavy foot you should be getting more than what youre getting....../ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif
The Ip only has about 5-8k miles. I think the injectors are probably the originals. I want to get them tested but cant find a shop around the ATL area to go to. I guess I could just call Ken and get a new set. I forgot to add the truck has 185K miles on it.
Sounds like your truck is almost identical to mine... fuel milage is almost identical also! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif But my pump is tired as are the injectors. I'm planning on a turbo pump and stage 1 injectors as soon as I get it back on the road again. I was "hoping" for around 17mpg then. Maybe it's just a dream...

3.55 & ZF-5 Speed. 12 pulling 10K, 15 with the lighter stuff and 20 empty.

I just filled up two days ago and only in town i got 18.2mpg.
