I have a 94 F350 with 16.5 inch steel wheels (rims?). The wheel states it is rated to 2220 lbs. at 65 psi. I have since upgraded my tires that allow up to 80 psi. How do I know what is the max these wheels will safley carry? Does the max weight increase with the increase in tire pressure or do these wheels only allow for 2220lbs? Thank you for any help you can give on this. They are factory stock wheels.

There shouldn't be a pressure on the wheel - that should only be on the TIRE. But I don't think I've ever seen a weight rating stamped into a factory wheel, either. Post pics.

Does the max weight increase with the increase in tire pressure...?
The GVWR never increases. Click this & read the caption:

If that's what's stamped into them, then that's their max, regardless of the tires on them, or the vehicle they're on.
