My 97PS has 287K on it now and is running great. It is stock except for the two tranny coolers and the John Wood tranny. I have read about replacing injectors at about 300K. I don't know the signs of the need for injectors and should I deal with the injector issue like I did with my tranny. I went to JW at 246K before my tranny had any problems and had him replace it. Should I do the same with the injectors and just replace them now at 287K? Thanks in advance.

With those miles you are lucky
Average life of poppet valve issues are at 170000 miles but many have gone way more. When injector o rings go bad the oil gets into fuel filter and turns it black. When injectors get bad from poppet valve problems it can be hard to start and could just run bad. On the other side of this if it is running great than leave it alone.
