Well the Pro-Comp ATs went over 65000 miles and now it's time for some new rubber. But, I'm getting rims too so $$$ is tight. Hence the need for some retreads or blems.

My brother got some 35s retreads for his off roader jeep and they were really nice for $60. I haven't been able to find anyone selling 35x12.50X16s retreaded with AT tread.

Or who knows of a good place that sells blems?

Thanks a ton.

I used to run Giant brand 10 plys on my truck. They don't make them in a 16" anymore. I took them to a Les Schwab in the Northwest & they re-capped them for me for $65 each. They branded them "FARM USE ONLY" & offered no warrenty. I got 20k on them & one blew at 75 MPH just outside of Reno. Ripped out my fuel filler lines & the Harley in the back fell over. My own fault for running them like that.

Retreads are ok for the rear. Bad news for the front

Well, thanks for the help. You confirmed the two sources I already knew about. Looks like Nebraska tire has the same tires I have now for cheap so I may pick some of them up. I don't think I want retreads anymore. I drive on the highway every day, 500 miles a week, and usually between 75-80mph. Too dangerous for retreads. But i'm showing belts now so what's worse /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

Travis,

Nebraska tire has the Wildcountry Blems for around $400 shipped to your door. These are great tires, I got close to 65k out of my set!
