I might try to mount my Oilguard this weekend and was curious where it will fit. A picture would be nice. Thanks.

I put mine on the pass side under the front seat on the frame. Used existing holes and it bolted right up. On my friends 04 the frame is different so he had to drill 1 hole and used 1 existing. Look around you will find it fits fine. We both have the larger EPS 60 which is at least twice a big as the EPS 20.

I put mine under the driver side so I didn't have to worry about the exhaust getting in the way or anything like that.

I got mine a few days ago and will probably install it next weekend. I
did look under the truck and the inside of the left frame rail looks
too crowded. So maybe the outside of it will be OK. Before I got the
Oilguard I was thinking of mounting it in the pocket behind the left
wheel below the door hinges. I put the tranny filter in that spot on the
right side and it worked out well. But the Oilguard filter assembly is
heavy and has a bigger mounting bracket. They did provide about 10-ft of
Push-Loc hose to reach a suitable mounting spot. They say NOT to use
hose clamps on the hose. Is this stuff really reliable -- i.e., won't
leak and won't blow off? Seems like hose clamps should really be used.
Or at least some tie-wraps. I've never used this stuff before. A bit
nervous about it.

And how often should the Oilguard filter be changed? The instructions and
their website don't say anything about the filter change interval.

Hose clamps can cause leaks on push lock hose. I use push lock in many applications and it works fine.

Just completed my install. Everything pretty smooth. I had to make a spacer to clear the E-brake cable. But, other than that and my kit being a little dirty to my liking. It went good.

You can see my install HERE

I'll post some results of this kit and any difference's in how my truck runs later.
