I have just received my Magnefine inline transmission filter and I'm really hoping someone can give me some advice on the best place to install this piece to make it most effective.

The only place would be on a tranny cooler line, which wouldn't always be flowing until the t-stat opens on the tranny aroudn 160 degrees. I did an 08 filter conversion that helps filter more debris in the pan instead of depending on the external filter that only filters about 10% of the fluid when the t-stat is open.

Thanks for the info. I am interested in the conversion you mentioned. How did you go about converting to the 08 filter?
