My son has a '93 E-350 IDI van with no tach in the dash. He is having some transmission shifting troubles, but can't get any codes because mice have chewed the OBD1 plug off. He has looked in junk yards, and at the dealership, and they just look at him like he has two heads. Does anyone know where to find one. He said he can't even get it to flash the check engine light in the dash to read the codes that way.

Thank you I will pass that on to him. From memory, it looks right, but since he has the van with him, he'll have to look at it and see if it might match up.

What exactly is missing? Just the plastic shell? Or the wiring, too? The shell is very common on Fords; not only for the EEC DLC from '84-95, but also chime modules on many Ford vehicles, & 4WABS DLC on '93-96 Broncos.

So they should be ALL OVER the junkyards for next to nothing.
