My transfer case has some serious slop in it, and its causing alot of wear and tear on the rest of the driveline. It has almost 300k on it, with alot of heavy towing, and at least 100k miles over 375 rwhp.

Does anyone have a good vendor for getting a rebuilt/reman transfer case? Thanks.

I paid $600 once at a wrecking yard and was recently quoted just under a $1000 for one from the dealer. I got one way cheap off Craigslist once (475 bucks) and still see them there as cheap on occasions. Also look down here on the TDS classifieds, maybe someone local has one available.

Not sure who rebuilds them, I'd rather have a low mileage original condition one myself. Just don't have a whole lot of trust in rebuilt anything lately.
