Go to Autozone and get Performance Friction pads. I am very impressed with them.

I just ordered Hawks Superduty pads and Cyro Powerslot rotors. If you don't have a problem with your rotors, hard to believe, but I would go back with stock pads. I have 49K on my truck and the pads look like new, it's just my rotors that aren't worth a nickel!!

I don't tow anything heavy that often 2 - 3 times a year and a light trailer a couple of times a month. I have had very good luck with the stock brake pads and rotors, 121,000 miles and still going. I see Ford has a upgraded pad and rotor, was wondering if anyone else has seen them or know anything about them. I might be looking for some new ones say in about another 100,000 miles or so /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Bob19,

If you tow 99% of the time get Hawk Super Duty pads, other wise get the LTS Hawk pad. Look at the Powerslot rotors too while you're there, best product I have doen to my SD in a while. Get the Cyro'ed ones and the brake performance goes up while the warpage goes away!!!!!!!! Call us if you heave questions.

What are the difference between the Hawk "super duty" pads and the Hawk "LTS" pads?
