I have a '97 F-250 that I want to add a set of gauges (EGT, Boost & Trans temp) to it. Which gauge manufacturers are recommended? And where to go to get the best price for everything needed? Will the gauges come complete with everything I'll need?

I like my Isspro set, and I think that you will see that most folks here use either autometer or isspro. The absolute cheapest place to get them is www.egauges.com but I bought mine from www.dieselmanor.com. Both are site sponsors, but I went with Diesel Manor for their excellent kit that included absolutely everything that I needed to do the install and a great set of color instructions.

How much boost does a stock turbo produce? Does a Edge programmer effect the amount of boost producted? I'm wondering, because I don't know if I should get a 20, 40 or 60 lb boost gauge. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

go with a 40 lb. gauge. the edge will up the boost some but not enough that u will need a huge gauge. if u plan on other upgrades(injectors, custom tunes, turbo) then go with the 40 for now. if not, go with the 30

Belman, I used Autometer Ultra-Lites in my truck. They look and work great. Very easy finding a place selling them, find parts, or replace as well - if you're ever in a situation that would require such a thing. If you take the time and give Dale Isley from TYMAR a jingle, he'll take good care of you. Best luck with the decision making...so many cool looking gauges out there.
