I rarely post but have used this site to learn much from you all. So here's one I'm hoping to learn from you all.

I am hearing a squeaking when turning right and suspect the hub unit bearing is due. I have about 120k miles on it. (2002 f350 4x4)

So looking at replacements RockAuto has Timken units for less then Motorcraft. There are several other choices also.

Which would you recommend? Have any of you tried a brand you'd recommend staying away from?

Timken or motorcraft. The rest are basically on the stay away from list.

Used a cheap knock off awhile back and they went out within the year. Go with Timken. I found mine at Auto zone with a 3 year warranty. Went with them so it would be easy to return if necessary.

I pulled the hub assembly and the sleeve is discolored about a third of the way in.

So Moog has merged with Timken. I got one of each as they didn't have two of either.
