I was wondering what some of you guys with train horns recommended for a good, reasonably priced set of horns. Thanks for the input.

Don't know about train horns, but my Hadley Air Horns are very loud and get the job done.

You can find alot of them on ebay. The important item to remember is to supply slot of air. I have a cheap (under 100 horns only) from ebay installed with 3/8 air line @ 140PSI and they will scare the sh-- out of you especially sine they are mounted under the truck so you cna not see them. Best of luck with your search.

I had 2 pairs of Grove dual trumpet 1609 air horns under the cab of my F350. Fed them with 3/8" line and had 3/8" solenoids mounted directly to the horns and 5 gallons of storage to supply them. They sounded great and would do that setup again in a heartbeat.

Train horns are nice, but to get good long blasts, you need upwards of 10 gallons and feed them with 1/2" air line. They use up ALOT of air. Another downfall is that they are bulky to mount.

Thanks guys, I just ordered a set from the guys over at Siege Engineering. They were real helpful and the price was good too. Might have to get a bigger tank for them though. We'll see what happens.
