I read on here sometime ago that you could put a turbo off another year (03 I think) on an 05. What years will interchange to avoid the one on it now? Which is the easiest to adapt? Thanks in advance.

AFAIK I think all years will interchange and the same to adapt. Only reason I know of people putting an 03 turbo on a newer year pickup is the 03 turbos had a different fin design on the turbo that makes it whistle louder. Ford changed the design in 04 to quiet it down.

Im pretty sure you have to change the pedistal not 100% but i think lol.
