I have an 01' F350 and the exterior of the bed is perfect, but the interior floor is whooped up in a bad way. Can the floor of the bed be cut out and plated? If so how big of a deal would it be?

Those aftermarket truck conversion places are a good place to find a new take-off bed fairly cheap. Cutting out the one you have now would be a real PITA, not worth it. The mat route is cheapest fix.

Is all of the above an option?

I thought about a mat, but the thought of having a diamond plate and rhino lined bed floor seemed interesting. I think the previous owner hauled sledhammer weilding Gorillas on a regular bases. I just can't imagine what could've been loaded to causes these dents.

I would go with a take off bed, but the truck is an '01 work truck with 171k on it. Besides the exterior is perfect without a scratch
