I was trying to find a write up on turning up the injector pump on a 91 7.3 with an ats kit. I need to turn up the fuel just a smidge. What does it take the search thing didnt work to well for me.???????????

The normal disclaimer we always throw in with this question is.... "Under no circumstances should you change your pump calibration (turn it up) without an operating Pyrometer installed in the truck before hand. Maximum sustained temperatures should not exceed 1150^ and under no circumstances should you go over 1250^. This with the thermocouple probe mounted within 3" of the exhaust manifold."

Just turned up my Stanadyne Pump DS2 today, just a little. If you are doing it by yourself it sure is a lot easier to take the cover off the oil fill housing and see the dowel for the IP at 12 O'clock. Just jumper the starter relay across the battery cable connections with a screw driver to turn the engine over, you can bump it over ever so little that way. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif
