After reading on line, it sound like replacing the Multi Switch may be best bet? Anyone have diagrams on how to do? I want to make sure I don't take on more than I'm cable of.

Its easy enough, just remove the philipa screwa under the colum, then with the ignition key in the "run" position, look under the key tumbler and u will see a little ball. Push that in with a small pick or screwdrive and pull the tumbler out, this will allow you the remove the top cover of the colum. The mfs is held in with 2 torx screws and after that remove the two plugs behind it. Its relatively straight forward.

Oh yea and if you have a tilt wheel, you will have to unscrew that lever with a small pair of pliers or something of the sort.
