Hi everybody

Say, does anybody have a picture of what the wiring harness should look like on the passenger side?

I know that most of electrical fittings are plugs that can only fit into one place but there are some ring clamps that I had labeled but the marker smeared and I cannot remember where they go.

There is that black thing on the side passenger side of the engine compartment with the two threads coming out of it that is particularly confusing.

I have a couple of ring clamps from the harness, a hot wire from the battery, and a wire to the starter solenoid to connect.

I imagine if I put the starter solenoid with the hot wire, i'd just short the key ignition, but I would just like to be sure.

Does the hot wire get its own thread and everything else goes onto the other side?

Thanks for the help

It sounds like you're talking about the starter relay. It's pretty simple to wire up, the hot wire and the wires from the harness (fusible links) go on one of the large posts. The cable going to the starter goes to the other large post. The small gauge blue & red wire goes on the small post labeled "S".
