Hi,

I've got a new John Deere 4052R tractor that uses automotive wiring harnesses. Does anyone know where to go to identify wiring harnesses? I really hate cutting into factory wiring for anything, so I usually buy the mating harness and add accessories after that new harness. Below is a picture of the particular wiring harness I'm trying to identify. It goes to a backup alarm.

Thanks.

So what are you trying to figure out? You looking for a mating connector for that one?

I googled "John Deere 4052 Wiring Harness", and came up with this...

That's a connector - the harness is the bundle of wires behind it. What you're looking for is a "wiring pigtail" connector, commonly abbreviated "WPT-###". Check this PDF:

Most parts stores CAN look up connectors by those WPT numbers, and you can even find them on eBay & Amazon. So if you can identify that connector's WPT number, you should have no trouble finding it, and eventually its MATING connector (which will have a different WPT number).
