Wrong Fuel Level

Noticed yesterday that my front tank doesn't show the correct level at the gauge. It shows from "E" to "1/4" when it is full. Just happend within the last month. Any easy fixes for this. The rear works fine. I'm assuming that you have to drop the tank and replace the sending unit. Anyone have experience with this and with the price for parts? thanks. Jason

could be a abd ground wire if not it would be the tank unit
