I'm sure this not a new question...but we want to buy an aftermarket chip for our 97 PSD. We pull a 28 foot toy hauler and need some power help, can some of you give me some feedback.
Also can anyone recommend any shop/place in the East Phoenix AZ area.
There is a lot of great info on this forum and we would appreciate any ideas.

Before you add a chip to tow, you need to replace the stock downpipe from the turbo and the rest of the exhaust and add a set of gauges to monitor your trans temp if it is an auto and a pyrometer to keep your EGT's in check. You can get into big trouble if you tow with added power without a pyrometer.
