WW Question......

Am I able to put a WW on my early '99 7.3L? All the sites I have seen only list the WW for a 99.5 and up. And if I can, what benefit will I see from it? The only mods I have are a Hypertech PP III, and a muffler and cat delete, and a homemade intake(napa 6637). Please help.

Luckily for you, you've already got a wicked wheel! The "wicked wheel" is merely the compressor wheel used on the early 99s. On 99.5 and ups, they changed to the newer wheel, due to complaints from "too much turbo whistle" or something like that. They also added that foil insulation wrap on the driver side intercooler tube to lessen the turbo noise (something many folks remove). You've got two mods already and ya didn't even have to do anything. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif
