I know about the popular X leaf spring code but have never heard of the Y spring until recently. Anyone have any info on a "Y" code front leaf spring??

Thanks!

Code Y front springs are in the 2003 Workshop manual, but no info except a part number. Are you sure they are leaf and not coil springs?

X = 2C34-5310-AFA, 6,000 lb.
Y = 2C34-5310-VA

The world changed for 2005-up. Here's the spring codes for 2006. Notice Code X are now weaklings, and Code Y are coil springs:

Front Springs
A — 5C34-5310-AAB, 7,000 lb
B — 5C34-5310-ABB, 6,500 lb
C — 5C34-5310-ACB, 6,000 lb
D — 5C34-5310-ADB, 5,600 lb
E — 4C34-5310-EA, coil
F — 4C34-5310-FA, coil
G — 4C34-5310-GA, coil
H — 4C34-5310-HA, coil
I — 4C34-5310-RA, coil
J — 4C34-5310-SA, coil
K — 4C34-5310-TA, coil
T — 5C34-5310-AEB, 5,200 lb
V — 5C34-5310-AFB, 4,800 lb
W — 5C34-5310-ACB, 4,400 lb
X — 5C34-5310-AHB, 4,000 lb
Y — 4C34-5310-VA, coil
Z — 4C34-5310-WA, coil
