2016 Oil Life Meter Reset

Hello-

I have a 16 F250 CCSB Lariat 4x4 with the 6.2 and I'm trying to reset my oil life meter exactly how the manual says to and nothing is happening. The instructions are key on (engine off) press brake and gas to the floor at the same time and 3 seconds later a message stating that the reset is in progress should appear. I'm doing exactly that but no message of a reset in progress.

Any thoughts?

You may need to push them to the floor slowly and hold them there until the message comes up.

With brake and gas depressed, try then turning ignition to on position.

Does you rig come with information display? If yes, it should be in the menu.

You need to start at page 91 of your 2016 Owner's manual on where and how to reset the oil life. It is not difficult nor do you need to press the gas or brake or... It is a menu line in your settings of your center cluster display.
