Is anyone running 37" tires on a 4 inch lift? If so, can you post some pics with the specs on your wheels and tire size as well as the lift itself? I've seen pics of 37's on factory wheels with a 4.5" lift, but I want to know if they clear on a normal 4" lift?

Thanks!

Seriously doubt it. I had a 6" 4-link on my 08 F-250 that I just traded and was running 37x13.5x20's with a 2" wheel spacer and it still rubbed. Had to trim the air dam on the insides, shave the corner of the bumpers, and cut some of the bumper support out on the back side. It never rubbed on the inside fender wall though. Learned the hard way b/c the performance shop I had install it said it would fit, but it didn't.

I was at work earlier but here are a couple pics of my lift and wheels. The first is after the lift was installed and you can kind of see where the rubbing was going to take place. The other 2 are of each side and you can see where I had to cut and shave the bumper. I can't find any pics to show you how much bumper support I had to cut out.

Hey, thanks guys! That pretty much says it all. I've seen some 4.5" kits out there with 37's on factory wheels. They fit, but I prefer the look of the wider wheels myself, and I know if I went with a negative offset wheels they'd likely rub. I just wanted to know if anyone has done it. BTW, Nice trucks!

Many factors into play here.
F250
F350
Wheel width
Wheel offset
Wheel size
Tire width.
etc.
etc.
etc.

Different tire manufactures tires in the same size are different height.

Do your research on specs and sizes.

My F350 came stock with 34.5" tall tires. 20" x 8" wheels with 0 offset.

Like ABC said, Thanks for the complement and glad to give any advice. Wish I wouldn't have traded her in but pulling a 22' flatbed and a 32' gooseneck horse trailer to rodeo's all the time with that lift was horrible gas mileage, even with the whole EGR system deleted, cold air intake, 6" turbo back exhaust, and running a H&S Black Maxx.
BTW I was running Toyo Open Country tires and my XD rims were 20x10 with no offset which is why I put on the 2" wheel spacers.

Yeah I know wheel offset and backspacing is everything. I know I could tuck 37's with a 4" with 5" of backspacing, but I too like the look of the wider, more negative offset wheels.. that's why I was looking for lift and wheel specs from anyone who's done it.

Mudslinging, what was your fuel economy on your old one with all those mods? both towing and normal driving? What is your 6.7L currently getting in the same situations?

Sorry for not getting back sooner but I rarely get home before midnight and my phone email sucks. Anyway depended on the mode I drove in, where we were headed, and how big my load was obviously. I had custom tunes from H&S and my Mild was a 100 tune which is mostly what I drove in. Normal driving was anywhere between 15.5 and 17 hand calculated. Honestly I saw over 18 running in Hot mode (Hwy driving) but that was a 375 tune and I didn't run it much because A) it would spin the rear end right out from under you when you hit the gas and I didn't have traction bars, B) the damn gas pedal was so touchy all you had to do was tap it and it would jump. I'll have to find my Dyno sheet and post it but I believe the torque was well over 1100 Ft lbs. Towing a fully loaded 32' 4 horse slant was between 8 and 10 depending on my lead foot but I never drove over 70mph. Now this isn't a bad range when towing that much weight but several hundred miles every weekend got to be a bit much. Plus the rear suspension was soft with that much weight and it looked terrible driving down the road with your nose pointed up.
My new truck is currently bone stock. Have only had it about a month and have roughly 900 miles on her. Normal driving on my first fill up came out to be 16.7 and the lie-o-meter said 16.5 but it went into Re-gen once (don't miss that) so that eats it up some but I probably won't start seeing improvements until 10,000 or more. Haven't pulled the horse trailer any distance yet. I'll get my first chance this weekend and we'll see. I did pull the flatbed about 100 miles but 50 of it was empty and the other 50 with about 8000# of hay. Didn't get a chance to calculate it but the lie-o-meter said I was averaging 15.
