my friend recently ordered a Beans 7 position chip. i have read teh FAQ and tried to search, but have come up with nothing that its very detailed about installing a chip in the PCM on the firewall.


if possible, could someone please post a link with pictures and good detail on how to do this?

Definitely pull the PCM, and split it per DustyB's link. I skipped this step and paid for it by blocking a boat ramp while I scrounged a wrench to pull the e-brake housing to jerk the chip out of the computer to trouble shoot a no start. Not Fun! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vomit.gif

decided on teh second chip from banks, just a 6 position. it will be in friday. i only wish the pictrues on the FAQ sent to me were larger so i could see better. ill just be real careful and wing it with the help of what was giiven.
