I was shaking it, and he said that if I was looking for one of those subscriber cards, everyone else had already taken them.

It seemed a decent magazine; but, like all other magazines, it was about 90% ads and 10% useful reading.

With all the ads that get crammed into magazines, they could send them free and still get rich.

Two thirds of the articles in magazines are just ads in disguise. </font>

+1. Read one today. It was all about installing this super chip or that so cool goozwidget for xzillion $$$$. No intelligence or engineering at all, except for what was bought and installed by someone else. It's why I don't buy mags any more.

I thought it was good. A certain number of ads are helpful to know what's available.

There's some non-truck diesel stuff and whether it's worthwhile will depend on how much future issues focus on trucks, because that's what we're into... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

 

I took a look at the first couple of issues seemed like it was all show and no go.

 

You can subscribe from the website, www.dieselpowermag.com It's like $12 for a year (9 issues I believe). It's not that much money, so I already put in an order of 2 years since it was cheaper that way.

Problem is when you click on the subscribe link on the page, it tells you it cant load the page. have they discontinued this magazine?

I saw the magazine at autozone the other day on the magazine rack by the register.Seems like a pretty good magazine.

 

They have stacks of them in the PX over here. I just wait till they get ready to through them away and get mine for free. I can get all the subsription cards from them as well.

I was not over impressed with the mag, though they do have some interesting adds in there.

Kinda going cold on that magazine. It seems to be huge Banks advertisement....

 

The newest issue is getting a little better, and yep it does seem to be a big Banks add, But I remember when that and ATS was all I could find aftermarket, then I found this place /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

My invoice says $12. I ordered just about as soon as they let you do it online. I did the bill me later option and it was $12. They are still charging me that price, so maybe the price went up. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif
