2000 F350, 4x4, A/T, TS 6pos chip, Adrenaline HPOP, Boost fooler, otherwise stock.
Accelerating engine cuts off momentarily, check engine light flashes. Wait to start light came on for a bit then went out, probably the normal cycle. Came home & scanned it. Got two codes P0603 and P0541. One is related to the KAM the other is related to intake air heater. I found a loose battery cable which could’ve caused the KAM code. I removed the intake heater years ago. Doubtful if that’s the cause. Cleared the codes, drove it. Same problem but no codes. Removed the chip. No change. No codes shown. I had a cam position sensor fail about a month ago with the same symptom and kept driving to where I could pull off the road. It showed a code for that. Pulled over and changed it. It's gone about 1000 miles since. Changed the cam sensor again, same problem. A while ago I had a problem where I would turn the key to the on position and nothing dinged and no lights on the dash, completely dead. I turned the key off and on a few times and it sprang to life and ran fine. It seems to be an electrical issue. A scan shows nothing. I've checked everything I could think of but didn't find anything obvious. At this point I'm thinking maybe it's a problem with the ignition switch on the column. It's mounted in a linear direction front to rear. Maybe with 240,000 miles and 25 years it's worn out. The fact that it only does it on hard acceleration leads me to believe it's a linear problem. When it cuts off the truck jerks as if I stabbed the brake and comes back to life. Maybe the inertia is enough to wiggle something inside the switch. I've got another switch, I'll change it and take the old one apart to see if I can find anything.
Any ideas?

Hmm, I would have thought the ignition switch was the cuplrit. It does sound like the ignition is losing power. Maybe it's in the fuse box. Have any add-a-fuse taps been used? Those can spread the jaws holding a fuse in place so it makes intermittent contact.

No, and all the fuses and relays are good. The only thing that I've been able to find is the IPC has a little oil on the plug which means it's probably on the way out. Not sure if that'll cause the problem I'm experiencing. I'll change it anyway, shouldn't have oil n the plug. The problem is only on hard acceleration. It's as if I press a kill button then it runs normally. I checked the wiring for the IPR and IPC. It's all good. I thought it could be the umbrella thingie in the fuel tank so i filled it and the problem persists. Haven't checked fuel pressure yet because I don't have the tool yet. I don't think it's a fuel issue because of the way it shuts off suddenly then goes normally. Ordered a pressure tester on Amazon for tomorrow. Probably Chinese junk but it'll last for at least one job. I'll post results as they come in.

I think it might be a problem with the drivers side wire loom that goes over the valve cover. I didn't see any bare wires but I'll look further to be sure. That loom rubs against a couple of things so I have to check it carefully.
