Horn wire were it at?

do any of you know what wire in the engine room is the horn wire?like what color and were is it.It will be on the pasenger side but i wondder wich one?

Well I don't know what color the wire is but the horns are inside the pass. front fender, (Don't ask me how I know).
You might be able to find the wire from there and trace it back Fwiw.
I'd look but my truck is at the body shop getting a cab section, bed skin, and did I mention a fender replacement.

ouch sory to hear about that.i found the horn behind the fender it seems like a pain to get to a am hoping to intersept the wire in the engine room so i dont have to remove the black plastic thing under the finder in the wheel well to get to it . i wonder were you find i scematic of the truck?

Green With Yellow Tracer if I recall correctly. You can reach around the fender well cover and access the wires, depending on what you are trying to do

If you're talking about a wiring diagram, you have to buy another book for that; it's not in the Service Manual. $195 for the FSM, another $65 for the wiring diagrams.

so were sure it's the green yellow for the positive horn wire?

well for my 2000 truck.the wire color is yellow with green trace.and the new horn is loud.

Well for my 2005 truck the wire color is yellow with green tracer and the new horn is loud. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/warmsmile.gif
