does anyone have the cab light install write up?

 

If I remember correctly (I removed the entire interior 3 or 4 years ago), the overhead console in my '01 just clipped into metal brackets in the roof. Just go around and gently squeeze the sides of the console until you find the clips - it's pretty easy to figure out if you take your time and are careful. I didn't have any problems with breaking any of the tabs.

You will have to unscrew any existing cab lights and your visors, then pull the large round plastic snap plugs that also hold the liner in place. Oh yeah, you may also want to remove the plastic pillar shrouds, or at least loosen them at the top so you can get the liner out without ripping it.

 

I had to drop mine down a few days ago to install a dvd player. Not sure how to actually remove from the truck without removing the back window. It seems that the headliner wont fold without putting a crease in it.
