Is it worth the time, effort and money to install the Garrett GTP 38R on to the older powerstroke motors? I have checked on kits to fit the turbo to my application and they are around $850 not to mention the turbo. My objective is to increase the power on my truck after having added a chip, downpipe, and soon to install baby swamps. If anyone has made this modification, I would appreciate your opinion. Thank you!

You would only need the flange adapter if you went with a 1.15 housing but if you used the 1.0 housing that comes on the turbo you could use the stock ebp housing and use a sd down pipe.

So could one use a Banks brake from a 94-97? That is the one and only piece of Banks equipment I dont want to part with. Seems if our EBPV bolts up then it would also. Hope I was reading correctly about our EBPV bolting to the BB turbo.
