Is there a way to make "Heated Seats" stay on instead of shutting off automatically?

I would like for my heated seats to stay on until I turn them off instead of them turning themselves off after a number of minutes as they do from the factory?

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks,
Jeff

I took mine in for a frequent regen issue. When the tech was hooking up the computer to my truck to scan it I asked him that question. He said let me see what I can do. I never talked to him again after that but my truck's seat stay on until you shut off the key now. So obviously there is a way.

Sure wish you would find out what he did for us... What did they do for your regen issue?

I have not had the chance to take a long trip yet, but my heated seats stay on for 40 min at least during my daily commute before I turn the engine off. How long do your stay on before timing out?

I think mine stay on about 10 minutes each time they are turned on. I will ask the next time my truck is at the dealer.

I had mine at dealer on friday and they said they looked while it was hooked up but couldnt find anything to change that would make them stay on

I think it all depends on how determined the tech is to help you out

me too. After 10 minutes of the heat in my seats, I have had enough. If I left them on all the time, I'm afraid I just might poop myself !!!:lol::lol:

Low setting?

On mine the seat heater is either on or off. When it's on, it's really hot. My wife's Accord and my ex-pickup both have high and low settings. I wish my Superduty did.

You know you're spoiled when you complain about your heated seats being a little too warm!
